Chris Stigall

“The Chris Stigall Show” has been a morning destination for talk radio listeners since its 2006 launch in Kansas City, MO. From there, he began grabbing industry attention, filling in on nationally syndicated talk radio shows and appearing as a cable news guest.  In 2011, Stigall made the move to Philadelphia, where he became a morning radio fixture ever since.  The podcast version of the show launched in 2019 and became an instant top conservative talk podcast in the country.

Stigall’s shows are equal parts hilarity and desk-pounding monologues with healthy doses of skepticism and sarcasm.  Above all else, Chris’s abiding faith in Christ is what guides him.  His interviews with everyone from athletes and actors to comedians and politicians have regularly resulted in national headlines, and since 2009 has consistently ranked by industry trade publications as one of the top radio morning hosts in the country.

Chris’ career began as a writer’s intern on Late Show with David Letterman, followed by work as a producer, news anchor, DJ, and even a brief stint as a staffer for a member of the United States House of Representatives. A Northwest Missouri State University graduate in Maryville, MO – Stigall obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in broadcasting with a minor in journalism.  In addition to his radio and podcast work, you may have seen him as an occasional guest on your favorite cable channels— even the ones you hate!

Chris and his wife, Christine are vocal proponents of school choice, specifically private Christian education.  Together with the Herzog Foundation, the Stigalls host a podcast called “Making The Leap” to introduce and encourage parents to new ways of educating their children, rescuing them from the toxic politics of public education.  The Stigalls are committed Christians in the Southern Baptist tradition along with their three teenage children – Will, Drew, and Anna.

The Gold Standard presented by The Midas Gold Group is a weekly discussion of current news and historical events that will affect the future of money and wealth. The Executive Order 6102 by President Roosevelt, the Federal Reserve Bank, the historical event in 1971 by Richard Nixon, and the insatiable desire for credit on all levels have caused the biggest debt bubble in history. The major central banks of the world now control the financial markets through unlimited debt, interest-free money, and stimulus. There are many fancy names out there that mean money out of thin air. Someday this debt will matter, and it will be financially catastrophic to those who do not prepare right now.

This weekly show discusses why the US dollar has lost 97% of its purchasing power against gold since the early 1970s, and 80% of its value against gold since 2000. US debt levels of over $28 trillion and global debt of over $280 trillion and growing will eventually implode the debt, real estate, and equities markets. The Gold Standard presented by The Midas Gold Group does not give financial planning advice, but simply discusses the reasons every investor should consider controlling a position of their portfolio outside the financial system through private ownership of physical gold. The Gold Standard discusses recent exponential debt and money printing and why this means exponential risk to traditional paper assets, cash, and even equities held through third-party brokerage firms.
