Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi is under fire for ignoring coronavirus restrictions in a recent visit to a California hair salon. Video of Pelosi's indoor appointment was recently released showing Pelosi unmasked inside a hair salon, preparing to get her hair done.

As the Washington Post reports , "For almost six months, hairdressers in San Francisco have been prohibited from cutting and styling their clients’ hair inside a salon." However, that didn't stop the Democratic politician. The Post notes that "on Monday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), one of the most outspoken Democratic lawmakers on following coronavirus restrictions, became an exception to the rule in her home district."

The owner of the salon, whose business has been closed for indoor services, was frustrated by Pelosi's actions. The Post reported that "Erica Kious, the owner of eSalon, where Pelosi got her haircut, slammed the Democrat for her indoor styling."

This news comes months after Pelosi started highlighting the importance of masks and telling people to wear masks to prevent the spread of COVID-19. In July of this year, the Speaker even mandated the use of masks on the House floor. Even before that, she was publicly urging President Trump to wear a mask.

After seeing the video showing Pelosi unmaskedPresident Trump was quick to criticize the Democratic Speaker, writing on Twitter that "Crazy Nancy Pelosi is being decimated for having a beauty parlor opened, when all others are closed, and for not wearing a Mask - despite constantly lecturing everyone else. We will almost certainly take back the House, and send Nancy packing!"
