FTK COMPLETES $13.6MM LIHTC RENOVATION IN DALLAS

FTK Construction Services, a nationwide General Contractor specializing in Affordable Housing/LIHTC projects, is pleased to announce the completion of the rehabilitation at West Virginia Park, a 204-unit property located in Dallas, Texas. The Grand Reopening ceremony celebrating this event was held on January 22, 2026, and was attended by April Housing leadership, Blackstone Real Estate, PNC Bank, and the City of Dallas. The property was originally built in 2004 and features one, two and three bedroom apartments. The value of the contract is $13,687,175. The lender for the project is PNC Multifamily Capital.

The owner of the property is April Housing, a Blackstone Real Estate portfolio company. April Housing is one of the largest owners and preservers of affordable housing in the US. Since 2024, the company has successfully completed the preservation of more than 3,000 affordable homes across the country.

The renovations completed by FTK focused on April Housing’s goal of improving the overall resident experience across the property’s common spaces and 204 residential units, including:

• Interior renovations of fresh paint, new cabinetry, new countertops, new plumbing fixtures and appliances, new flooring, new lighting fixtures, new hot water heaters in the Leasing Office building and units. Additionally, HVAC replacements in the units.
• Exterior renovations with new paint, fresh paving, and landscaping improvements.
• Enhanced and updated playgrounds, pool, and gym facilities.
