Left Highly Critical of Trump’s Performance at Summit With Putin

Those on the left were out in force today following the conclusion of the post-summit press conference today between President Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Grabien reports the Obama Administration's CIA director, John Brennan, charged in a tweet that President Trump's performance at the conference was an impeachable offence, calling it “nothing short of treasonous.”

Moments after tweeting, Brennan appeared on MSNBC and demanded Trump cabinet officials resign in protest.

Meanwhile, ahead of the summit, Sunday on CNN host Brian Stelter said Trump “simply cannot be trusted,” claiming some could speculate that he is really a Russian agent working on “betraying America.”

Trump said today he'd rather take a “political risk in pursuit of peace than to risk peace in pursuit of politics.”
