American Idol 2016 winner Trent Harmon opens up about his powerful shift from country music to full-time worship. Sitting down with Brandon Woolum in Nashville, Trent shares how becoming a father and a long-standing tug on his heart led him to lean fully into his calling to lead worship through music. His new EP, 'Scars and Sins,' marks the first installment of a deeply personal project that reflects his faith journey and creative rebirth.

Trent discusses the spiritual emptiness he once felt after arena shows, compared to the lasting fulfillment he experiences leading worship, even in a small church with a single speaker. He also reflects on an old video he filmed alone in a hotel room, years before this transition, that hinted at what God was preparing in him all along.
