xMEMS and Rayking Partner on Cypress + Alta-S Module to Accelerate Adoption of the World’s First Full-Range MEMS Speaker in Wireless Earbuds

xMEMS Labs today announced a strategic partnership with Dongguan Rayking Electronics Co., Ltd. to co-develop a turnkey Cypress + Alta-S speaker module for next-generation TWS earbuds. The collaboration follows xMEMS’ milestone achievement of bringing Cypress – the world’s first full-range MEMS speaker – and its companion Alta-S ASIC to mass production readiness.

The new module, to be shown for the first time at xMEMS Live Asia 2025, combines the unmatched acoustic clarity and lightning-fast mechanical response of Cypress’ piezoMEMS architecture with Rayking’s acoustic packaging expertise and manufacturing scale. This ready-to-use module simplifies design, reduces time-to-market, and enables OEMs to confidently mass-produce solid-state MEMS-based earbuds at scale.

The new Rayking module (Codename: Monster) marks a breakthrough in earbud design and performance, enabling brands to confidently mass-produce full-range solid-state MEMS-based TWS earbuds at scale, without relying on legacy coil-and-magnet dynamic drivers. The module dimensions are D10mm*H2.8mm including all external components and cover.

Availability

The Cypress + Alta-S module from Rayking will be available for sampling immediately following xMEMS Live Asia. Mass production shipments are scheduled for early 2026. Demonstrations of Cypress will be available at xMEMS Live 2025 in Taipei (September 16) and Shenzhen (September 18).
