Chris Stigall announces run for Congress in Missouri's 6th District

After being an on-air personality for 25 years, Chris Stigall has announced he is leaving radio to run for Congress in Missouri’s 6th District.

He currently is the 6-9 am (EST) host on the Salem Radio Network and Salem News Channel that is heard across the country. With news of longtime Congressman Sam Graves stepping down for retirement, Chris took to social media to share a video announcing his run.

This allows him to move into action after a tenured broadcasting career. This decision came after dedicated time in prayer, conversations with family, and motivation from the nation's upcoming 250th anniversary.

If you are a listener of Chris's show, don't worry! Salem is putting it in good hands with guest hosts Jennifer Horn (AM 870 - The Answer out of Los Angeles) and Mark Davis (AM 660 The Answer out of Dallas) while the network looks for a permanent host.

We wish Chris the best in his campaign and can't wait to see what he can do.
