Dodgers' Andy Pages hit on left hand by a pitch, exits vs the Pirates

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Los Angeles Dodgers center fielder Andy Pages got hit on his left hand by a pitch in the third inning against the Pittsburgh Pirates and left the game Friday night.

Pages was struck by Pirates pitcher Bubba Chandler and took first base. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts and a trainer came out to check on him. He advanced to third before the inning ended.

Pages was replaced by Kiké Hernández to start the fifth inning.

Pages came in hitting .272 with 25 home runs and 80 RBIs. He earned his first All-Star selection this season.
