The New Jersey Devils and Philadelphia 76ers have done an about face on cutting salaries for employees making more than $100,000. A day after posting the temporary 20% pay cuts because of the economics effects of the coronavirus pandemic, the co-owners of the teams announced Tuesday they were rescinding them. The owners said the original decision was a mistake. Co-owner Josh Harris said after listening to his staff and players, the right move was to continue to pay employees their full salaries. Harris apologized to employees and fans for the mistake.
