MADISON, Wis.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb 4, 2026--

Xello has been selected as Wisconsin’s statewide college and career readiness (CCR) platform. This follows a highly competitive RFP process, with Xello earning the highest score across all evaluation categories compared to other major CCR vendors. The selection reflects Xello’s continued partnership with Wisconsin and the state’s ongoing commitment to providing students with high-quality, student-centered planning experiences that prepare them for life beyond high school.

For more than a decade, Wisconsin has led the way by providing universal access to high-quality academic and career planning resources, with consistently strong adoption across every district. Recognized as a leader in Academic and Career Planning (ACP), Wisconsin is guided by a shared belief that every student deserves a future they can see, shape, and feel excited about.

“Wisconsin has built one of the strongest models for ACP in the country,” said Jeff Harris, President and Co-Founder of Xello. “We’re honored to continue our partnership and remain committed to supporting educators and students as the state advances this important work.”

The selection reinforces Wisconsin’s vision by supporting and elevating the work educators do every day. Xello aligns with Wisconsin’s Career Readiness Standards offering engaging lessons, intuitive dashboards, and student portfolios that follow students throughout their academic journey. Together, they are deepening their commitment to districts by expanding on-the-ground support, including an additional statewide trainer dedicated to ACP and Xello implementation. They will also launch statewide access to work-based learning (WBL), supported by a dedicated WBL coordinator and employer liaison to strengthen connections between districts and employers.

“Wisconsin’s ACP work is rooted in a long-term vision for student success,” said Karin Smith, Education Consultant of Academic and Career Planning at the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. “Having a statewide platform aligned to our standards strengthens our ability to deliver meaningful ACP experiences across districts.”

Together, Wisconsin and Xello look forward to the next chapter of ACP: Continuing to strengthen implementation, deepen engagement, and ensure every student has the support needed to build a successful future.

About Xello: Our mission is simple yet powerful—to equip every student with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to build a successful, meaningful future.
