Skanska Promotes Ashley Jeffery as Vice President, Head of Communications for U.S. Building Operations

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan 12, 2026--

Skanska USA, a leading global construction and development firm, announced the promotion of Ashley Jeffery as vice president, head of communications for its building operations. In this role, Jeffery will oversee and drive national internal and external strategic communications, brand positioning and multi-channel engagement across the business unit.

Jeffery brings 17 years of strategic communications experience across diverse industries and media sectors. Most recently, Jeffery led Skanska’s communications strategy across multiple regions, integrating internal and external efforts, advising executive leaders and strengthening national visibility in key sectors.

Prior to joining Skanska, Jeffery held communications management roles at AdventHealth and Hillsborough College, and brings a strong newsroom perspective from her early career as a multi-media journalist and television reporter. Based in Tampa, Florida, she is an active participant in community organizations, including Leadership Tampa, Habitat for Humanity and Feeding Tampa Bay. She holds a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from the University of South Carolina.
