CANONSBURG, Pa. (AP) _ Equitrans Midstream Corporation (ETRN) on Tuesday reported third-quarter profit of $87.3 million.

On a per-share basis, the Canonsburg, Pennsylvania-based company said it had net income of 17 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to 13 cents per share.

The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 17 cents per share.

The company posted revenue of $342.1 million in the period.
