PHILADELPHIA (AP) _ Amicus Therapeutics Inc. (FOLD) on Monday reported a loss of $33.3 million in its third quarter.

The Philadelphia-based company said it had a loss of 12 cents per share.

The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 19 cents per share.

The pharmaceutical company posted revenue of $81.7 million in the period, falling short of Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $84.5 million.
