PHILADELPHIA (AP) _ AgroFresh Solutions Inc. (AGFS) on Wednesday reported a loss of $3.9 million in its fourth quarter.
The Philadelphia-based company said it had a loss of 8 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for asset impairment costs, were 2 cents per share.
The specialty chemicals company posted revenue of $55.9 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported that its loss narrowed to $5.4 million, or 59 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $166 million.
In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, the company's shares hit $1.97. A year ago, they were trading at $2.44.
