The Bee Movie (Netflix)

A honeybee named Barry leaves the hive to explore the human world, only to discover that humans have been stealing honey for centuries. Barry then does what any face on an interstate billboard would do – he sues the human race. This hilarious 2007 movie starred the voices of comedian Jerry Seinfeld as Barry and Renée Zellweger as his new human friend, and won a Golden Globe for best animated movie. Rated PG for mild suggestive humor.

David (Netflix)

A shepherd boy is unexpectedly chosen to be Israel’s future king – but first must navigate jealousy, danger, and even a battle with a giant warrior before he ascends to the throne. This 2025 film starred Christian singer Phil Wickham as adult David and is widely considered to be the best Bible musical since 1998's The Prince of Egypt. Even better: It takes fewer creative liberties with the biblical narrative than that earlier film. Rated PG for action/violence and some scary images. Animated.

Universe Designed (Angel, Home Video)

An atheist-turned-Christian filmmaker sets out to investigate the origins of the cosmos, examining evidence from science and nature that points to a purposeful design behind the universe. That filmmaker is Michael Ray Lewis, whose own investigation of the evidence led him to Christ. It ranks among the most compelling apologetics films I've seen and concludes with a powerful look at the evidence for Christ's resurrection.

Jesus Revolution (Wonder Project)

An energetic street preacher crosses paths with a small-town pastor, sparking a spiritual awakening that sweeps through a generation of searching young people. It’s the true story of the Jesus Movement of the 1960s and ’70s, which found unlikely leaders in Lonnie Frisbee and Pastor Chuck Smith, who combined a passion for the Gospel with a willingness to reach a generation many churches had overlooked. It stars Kelsey Grammer and Jonathan Roumie. Rated PG-13 for strong drug content involving teens and some thematic elements.

Hoppers (Home Video)

A nature-loving college student uses experimental technology to enter the body of a beaver and uncover why the animals have vanished from a beloved forest glade threatened by a highway project. This 2026 Pixar adventure delivers a timely reminder to unplug, step outside, and appreciate the beauty of the natural world around us. Parents should note, though, that the final act in the film includes several surprisingly intense and frightening scenes that may be too much for younger or more sensitive children. Rated PG for action/peril, some scary images, and mild language.

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie (Home Video)

Mario and his friends leave the Mushroom Kingdom behind and embark on a galaxy-spanning adventure to stop a new threat from throwing the universe into chaos. It follows the events of The Super Mario Bros. Movie and continues the story of Nintendo's recent animated Mario franchise. Chris Pratt voices the lead character. Rated PG for action, mild violence, and rude humor.

RUSH: The American Revolution's Indispensable Doctor (Wonder Project)

A doctor, patriot, and signer of the Declaration of Independence – Benjamin Rush – helps guide America through its fight for freedom while championing causes that were decades ahead of their time. Rush is a largely forgotten Founding Father whose Christian faith shaped his views on medicine, education, and human dignity. It's an uplifting introduction to one of the nation's most influential early leaders.
