Fatal police shooting of man in Pennsylvania sparks protest

LANCASTER, Pa. (AP) — Crowds gathered to protest in a Pennsylvania city after a man was fatally shot by an officer who authorities say was responding to a domestic disturbance call. The Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office said Sunday evening that the shooting happened shortly after 4 p.m. in Lancaster. The office says the officer’s body camera footage showed the man emerging from the inside of the house and running towards the officer while “brandishing a knife above his head." The office says the officer then fired at the man, who has been identified as 27-year-old Ricardo Munoz. Munoz died at the scene.
